Biography

Since their inception in 2007, Ligument has been a rumbling and powerful force.  Their unique combination of progressive and art rock influences along with complex composition is what sets them apart from the rest of the crowd.

Founded in 2007 by bassist (Dimitry Starks) and with guitarist (Brandon Turner) in late 2008 and percussionist (Steve Neale) in late 2009 they had finally “come into their being” with Ligument’s wall of sound, thrilling rides of musical intensity, and a deep driving force of character and integrity.

Ligument released their first album “Shoe Your Tie Laces” in late February 2009 and are currently planning the construction of their next palate of songs which will be released in the early months of 2010. 

Ligument’s fan base is on a constant rise, which gives testimony to the fact that good musicianship, excellent songwriting and a prevailing drive can draw attention quickly and is in high demand.  Ligument can currently be found playing live in all areas surrounding Atlanta.
